But Reese Witherspoon went for comfort over fashion as she attended a yoga class in Brentwood on Super Bowl Sunday.

The 39-year-old Oscar winner looked laid back in a baggy sweatshirt and cropped sweatpants for the sweat sesh.

Witherspoon went makeup-free for the session, which highlighted her natural beauty and flawless complexion.

She told Entertainment Weekly this week that she was offered a 'terrible' role four years ago as the girlfriend of a male star 'in a dumb comedy' - a role being chased by fellow Oscar winning actresses.

She said it made her realize that she didn't want to be chasing 'awful roles' anymore and led her to get involved in producing her own films.

When she was informed that three Oscar winners and two other big box office draws wanted the part, Reese said it made her question: 'Oh, that’s where we’re at? You’re fighting to be the girlfriend in a dumb comedy? For what?'

The mother-of-three, meanwhile, is currently lending her voice to the animated film Sing and will soon begin production on the dramedy Downsizing opposite Matt Damon and Jason Sudeikis.
