What's with the sign language? Ricky Martin gets fidgety with his hands as he poses for photographs before taking to the stage for private concert in Melbourne

He's been performing up and down the country since the end of last month but it seems nerves got the better of Ricky Martin on Wednesday in Melbourne.

The 43-year-old singer looked a tad anxious when he fiddled with his hands and cracked a small smile as he posed for photographs ahead of his private gig at The Crown hotel.

The Livin La Vida Loca hitmaker - who clutched his hands, rammed them into his pockets and pressed them hard - was dressed to impress in a smart long black jacket.

The hunk is currently Down Under for the Australian leg of his One World Tour, which has seen him perform two gigs in Townsville, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Ricky has been busy whizzing around country following his performance at the Logie Awards in Melbourne last Sunday to honour Australian television at the 57th ceremony.

He then had a short break to relax with his twin boys Matteo and Valentino, six, before he made his way up to Adelaide to rock the stage at the Entertainment Centre in South Australia on Tuesday.

But the break in his jam-packed schedule has lasted long as he flew back down to Melbourne on Wednesday for his private show at the luxury five-star hotel.

The singer will wrap up his tour Down Under, which sees his beautiful pal and co-star Delta Goodrem as his support act, in Perth on May 8, when he performs at the Perth Arena.

After splitting with his partner of four years, Carlos Gonzalez Abella, in January 2014, Ricky is once again parenting his twin boys solo and has them join him on tour.

In a recent interview with News Corp, Ricky said his boys, who were born via surrogate in 2008, love going on tour with him and claimed their playground is 'backstage at an arena.'

Meanwhile, to the excitement of fans, Ricky has agreed to return to his coaching role on The Voice Australia for a third season and will jet to Sydney when the live rounds kick off later this year.

Matteo and Valentino accompanied their father Down Under for the taping of the auditions back in March, and will also join him on his return in the near future.

This year he will be competing against coaches Delta Goodrem, The Madden Brothers - Joel and Benji - and the former Voice UK coach Jessie J.
