Real Housewives at war: Carole Radziwill accuses Luann de Lesseps of dating married men... as the pair clash over toyboy drama

Carole Radziwill finally decided to come clean with Luann de Lesseps about the fact that she was dating her Hamptons chef on Tuesday night's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City.

And it seems the 49-year-old was not happy about it, particularly because Carole's new beau - Adam Kenworthy - used to date her niece.

The 51-year-old appeared on Watch What Happens Live that same night and addressed the prickly tweets Luann had posted about her.

She also let off a few barbs of her own, claiming that Luann has her own style of dates many men which including 'young, old, married, single.'

She added: 'I don’t roll that way.'

As Carole appeared on Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked the star about how Luann was 'really coming after' her on Twitter.

'So much Twitter hate - where did this come from?' the reality star responds, as Andy begins to read off some of the harsh posts.

First he asks about a tweet that maintained Adam had still been seeing Luann's niece and that the two were even planning a trip together.

The tweet read: 'Here's the thing. Adam and my niece were still seeing each other and were planning a trip together. @CaroleRadziwill @Andy @BravoWWHL'

However, Carole did not back down, clarifying: 'No, no, let me be clear. They broke up over a year before I ever met Adam.'

'And the trip that she’s referring to is a trip to Nicaragua where he runs a non-profit, a farm in Nicaragua, and they were going with a whole group of people because after they broke up they remained friends, and are still very friendly to this day. It was not a bad breakup.'

He continued: 'She also said: 'Of course you don’t care about my niece. You don’t care about me either. And you called us both friends,'' as he added: 'I thought you two were friends?'

'I thought we were friends, too,' she responded, adding: 'I don't know where all of this hate is coming from. I thought that she might be surprised that I was dating someone who she knew - although I think it's good karma to fix up a love connection.'

Andy continued, sharing Luann's harsh criticism, noting that the star believed people in their twenties were not appropriate 'relationship material' for women Carole's age.

Carole, however, remained unaffected, as she shared: 'Her niece is upset. I don't care, really. I didn't do anything wrong. He didn't do anything wrong. He's a single guy. I'm a single girl.'
