'I thought what's the point in going on after 30?': Megan Fox, 29, reveals to Ellen DeGeneres she has a deep fear of aging

Megan Fox always thought age 30 was old. But in May she will hit that marker.

And on Tuesday the actress explained to host Ellen DeGeneres she has been struggling with that number for a very long time.

'When you're young, that sounds so old. When you're in high school or even when you're in your early 20s, it still sounds like, "By the time I'm 30, I should just give up."' the siren, who has been guest starring on The New Girl, said. 'What's the point of going on at that age?'

'What makes it even weirder is that you don't feel any different, the ex of Brian Austin Green added.

'And then you turn 30 –I'm turning 30 later this year—you don't feel any older at all,' the Transformers star said.

That is when DeGeneres, 58, piped in. 'I agree with you,' the blonde talk show host said. 'Because when I was younger, I would think somebody 50, 60 years old was, you know, just like...'

Fox interrupted with: 'In a hospice?' obviously not understanding that the daytime TV queen was 58-years-old.

Megan went on: 'I'm just saying! When you're young, that's what you think.'

Ellen didn't seem too happy but said: 'I wouldn't go that far,' DeGeneres said, 'but certainly close to going to a hospice, yes.'

The beauty wore a red sleeveless Elisa 2016 Resort Collection dress from designer A.L.C. that had an uneven hem line and floral prints with gold strappy heels. She wore her long brunette tresses down and in soft beach waves. 

The mother of two seemed to be in good spirits, even though she is still in the process of divorcing Green.

The A lister has listed two of her LA properties in an effort to liquidate before the divorce is finalized.

Also on Ellen, the former child star was asked about her kimono collection.

'I have a few drawers full,' Fox said. 'I don't know exactly how many that is...My kids love it, especially Noah. 

'He finds that to be a very magical thing when I float down the stairs in my silk kimono. He's very taken by that, and that's sort of an image I like to brand into him.'
