Nick Carter and pregnant wife Lauren Kitt touched down in Japan on Tuesday and seemed delighted to be there as they were greeted by excited fans.
The Backstreet Boy was seen with a big smile on his face at Narita International Airport, even though he had to push his own loaded baggage cart through the arrivals terminal.
The 36-year-old brought with him two large suitcases, a backpack and a guitar case as he promotes the official launch in Japan of his solo album All American.

His blonde hair was gelled back from his forehead and he sported some noticeable stubble on his upper lip.
Once on the ground he had immediately tweeted his fans to say how happy he was to be in Japan, adding: 'I can't wait (to) have some Japanese food. Like NOW. I'm starving.'

Nick is facing some legal challenges after being arrested at a Florida bar on January 13 for allegedly punching and trying to choke a bouncer. He's been charged with misdemeanor battery.
The incident took place after bartenders at the Hog’s Breath Saloon in Key West refused to serve alcohol to him and a companion and asked them to leave because they appeared to be 'heavily intoxicated,' according to an arrest report.
Legal woes: The singer was arrested on January 13 at a Florida bar after becoming 'unruly' and allegedly trying to choke a bouncer. He has been charged with misdemeanor battery and is being sued by the bouncer
On January 26, TMZ reported the bouncer Skylar Carden has filed a lawsuit against the boy band star in which he claims the singer did physically assault him. He's seeking unspecified damages.
After the fracas, Nick tweeted an apology for his behavior, writing: 'I am human and at times it can be a struggle to balance a healthy lifestyle. I'm not perfect and for that I am sorry.'
In a second tweet, he asked for help and understating, saying: 'When we fall we have to get up and keep on walking. I hope you stay by my side and continue to walk with me.'

Nick's wife Lauren, whom he wed in a beachfront ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, in 2014, is clearly a huge support to him and has accompanied him to Japan despite being about seven months pregnant.
The mom-to-be, who's 32, opted to travel in a black catsuit that looked like a really comfortable option for the long flight. She added a pair of funky ankle boots and a large camel-colored coat.
The pretty brunette, who's believed to be about seven months along, wore her glossy shoulder-length hair loose and kept her sunglasses on.
Nick and Lauren learned they are having a boy after the sex of the baby was revealed on November 2 during an episode of Dancing With The Star, in which Nick ultimately placed second.
In his element: The singer clearly enjoyed being the center of attention
Ready to work: Nick will be performing and holding fan meet-and-greets during his stay in Japan
