Take your style thigh high in Kris' Balmain shorts

Dear readers,

Is there anything better than a photo of our national treasure starfished on a bullseye wearing nothing but high couture?

Thank you, Harpers Bazaar for reminding us why we fell in love with this woman in the first place. Kris spawned 5 of the most stylish girls in the world so it's no shocker that she likes to take risks in her clothing.

And this risk paid of as she wowed us in a satin red Escada bustier top and tiny high-waisted knit shorts by family favorite, Balmain.

These sky- high shorts are just what we need to wear with a vintage styled crop top for summer or pair them with tights, over the knee boots and a tucked in white blouse for a daring winter ensemble.

At only $314 on sale--the decision is a no brainer. So click right to buy them from Net-a-Porter.com or keep up with Kris with an option from our budget- friendly edit below!

In 2015, Kris was not only newly-single for the first time in 22 years, but had to stand with the rest of the world and watch her ex-husband Bruce Jenner transition into a woman named Caitlyn.

Speaking about how she adjusted to the news, Kris told the publication:  'I think at some point, although it was difficult and, uh, a challenge… I just have to let it go. And try to be tolerant.

'[With] prayer. God. You know, just trying to understand. It takes time,' she added. 'But time is a wonderful healer. And we have two children together. It’s important for my kids to see our family strong and united.'

She also revealed that her one biggest regret in life was her divorce from Robert Kardashian, the father of Kris' five oldest children, who passed away in 2003.

The pair were married from 1978 to 1991 before he divorced her for being unfaithful to him. During the transition of Caitlyn, Kris said she constantly wished she could call up her ex-husband for comfort.

Currently, she is in a relationship with Corey Gamble, a 35-year-old member of Justin Bieber's management team.

The whole situation with Caitlyn threw Kris and the rest of the family into the forefront of the transgender community, which was an entirely new concept to Kris.

'I never really thought about it before. And I’d never known anyone who was transgender,' she said. 'I didn’t even know what the word meant. Because there’s transgender and transsexual… I just didn’t know much about it. So…I definitely got a big education.'

Caitlyn made her debut with an appearance on the cover of Vanity Fair's July 2015 issue and the announcement brought a whole new sort of media attention on Kris and her feelings about the situation.

'Thank God, I never doubted myself,' she said. 'I never really doubted my femininity. I just doubted the relationship. You know, what were those 20-plus years all about?'

In the Harper's Bazaar interview, Kris was also confronted over the biggest accusation that has been leveled at her by her critics: did she sell out her family for fame and fortune?

'Nooooo,' she said. 'I made and created a show that my family was all on board with, and we were so excited because we got to work together.'

She also hit back at those critics, saying that they are likely 'bitter and angry about their own lives' and 'maybe they don't have anything else to do but be nasty and criticize someone else'.
