Florida Senator Bill Nelson (bottom, center insert) has called for an investigation into a Royal Caribbean cruise that knowingly sailed into a massive nor'easter, which forced passengers into a lock down for their safety. Senator Nelson called for the National Transportation Safety Board to investigate the Anthem of the Seas (bottom, right left) voyage, which fought through waves as high as 30 feet and winds of approximately 150mph. Royal Caribbean said in a statement the ship experienced 'extreme wind and sea conditions' that were not expected. However, the National Weather Service's Ocean Prediction Center had issued an alert for a strong storm four days in advance. The storm sent the ship rocking and leaning as far as 45 degrees off center and caused superficial damages to the ship (pictured).
