He's quickly become the darling of this year's awards season.

And while nine-year-old Jacob Tremblay is not nominated for an Oscar, he was for various other honours, he was certainly the life of the party at the Academy Awards Luncheon on Monday in Beverly Hills.

The young man arrived on the red carpet with his Room co-star Brie Larson, who is nominated for Best Actress, and was later seen posed up with some of Hollywood's biggest stars.

The smart looking kid, who won Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer earlier this year, dressed up in a dapper suit and tie as he looked handsome with his hair slicked back.

Best Supporting Actor nominee Sylvester Stallone was seen giving Tremblay a boxing clinic, and even posed with the youngster delivering a knockout punch.

While in another snap he got in a shot with Best Actress nominee and previous winner Jennifer Lawrence.

And the boy star may in fact be a lucky charm as he recently told Ellen how he met Leonardo DiCaprio at the SAG Awards and became his pal ahead of his Best Actor win for his role in The Revenant.

Jacob, who was also in attendance on the night said: 'I went up to him. I have a funny story. I saw him in the chair behind us. So then I walked straight up to him.

'There was a line of people waiting to meet him and I thought, I'm a kid, I can skip it. So I skipped it and said, "Hi!"'

'He knew who you were?' Ellen asked him. 

'Yeah. I said good luck to him and he said good luck to me - and he won but I didn't so if you wanna win, you have to come up to me.'
