And Emma Roberts made quite the statement as she engaged in a day of shopping in West Hollywood on Tuesday. 

The 24-year-old actress was alone for the event, sans on-again boyfriend Evan Peters.

For her casual day out, the Scream Queens diva wore a cream T-shirt, featuring a colourful design with the instructions to 'never underestimate the power of a woman.'

The blonde beauty tucked in her statement shirt into a pair of high waist, vintage style jeans and added a pair of character cat flats. 

Emma accessorized her look with an animal print side bag, shades, and a simple bracelet.

Emma Roberts tried her best to blend in with the crowd while out shopping in West Hollywood. But the Scream Queens star stood out in her stylish off duty outfit that consisted off a statement t-shirt and high-waisted distressed jeans.

The blonde beauty completed her look with a leopard print bag, dark sunglasses and a pair of Charlotte Olympia smoking slippers. The velvet numbers were embroidered with a kitten face for a quirky spin on the classic flat slip-ons.

The British shoe designer is known for her offbeat creations that are often adorned with spider webs, jewels and studs. Taylor Swift and Suki Waterhouse are fans of the brand, so Emma is in good company.

While she might have been simply wearing a T-shirt, it appears it's message rings true in the actress' personal life. 

On January 31, Emma was spotted kissing her former fiance, Evan Peters, 29.

Reportedly, the couple met in 2012 and began dating that same year before their infamous spat on July 7, 2013.

According to TMZ, Emma was arrested for allegedly engaging in a domestic violence dispute with Evan, who emerged with a bloody nose and a bite mark. 

Sources revealed to the site that the reason for her arrest was because of Evan's obvious injuries, although the two each allegedly hit each other. 

December of that year, the two became engaged before calling off their happy news in June of 2015,

People reported that now-back-on couple rang in the new year together courtesy of a beach side property rental by Emma.

It is not known if the duo have decided to purse another engagement.
