'I started to bleed to death': An emotional Danielle Lloyd reveals she nearly lost her life in her quest to get the perfect breasts

She recently appeared on Botched Up Bodies, where she talked about a series of disastrous breast enlargements, which led to the breakdown of her marriage to footballer Jamie O'Hara.

And an emotional Danielle Lloyd talked more about her experience once again as she appeared on This Morning on Tuesday, revealing that she almost bled to death as her infected implants were removed.

'I had loose skin after I had the children, so I had my implants changed, when when I woke up, they were the size of my head and they would not stop growing.

Shocking: Danielle Lloyd told This Morning she nearly died following an operation on her boobs, revealing she almost 'bled to death as her infected implants were removed'

'I had a hole on the left side and I wasn't sure what for. I had an infection and I woke up in gunky water.

'The hospital removed the implants and found a blood clot under the muscle. I started to bleed to death. I lost six pints of blood and you only have 12 in your body.'

In total, Danielle has endured seven surgeries, as the former Miss World star said she was 'always striving for perfection.'

But she warns other girls to think carefully before having surgery, saying they she would do things differently if she had the chance.

'I couldn't believe what I had done to my body,' she said. 'I'm lucky to be alive. I wanted to better myself to feel more confident, but I was left with no confidence.

'I wish I had waited until I was older and more mature, or after I had kids. Natural is better. You don't need cosmetic surgery to be beautiful.'

It's been a rocky road for Danielle. The glamour model was left hospitalised in 2012 after her breast implant exploded.

Doctors discovered a blood clot had formed under the muscle and were forced to remove the implants altogether as she recovered from the surgery.

After going from a B cup to a D cup during her first surgery, Danielle was left with AA cups - leaving her self-esteem at rock bottom.

Visiting a cosmetic surgeon in a bid to rebuild her badly-scarred breasts, the mum-of-three decided to go under the knife for a seventh time.

After revisiting the doctor who operated on her, she showed off her more symmetrical cleavage - and insisted she was thrilled with the outcome.

Danielle beamed: 'I couldn't believe the difference in my boobs afterwards - I was so emotional.

'I've lived with a big 'shark bite' (scar) on the side and saggy breasts and nipples and it was hard to live with that but now I can look at them.

'I am so much more confident... I don't have to care what people say anymore.'

Looking back at what compelled her to undergo surgery in the first place, the brunette beauty claims it was when she was thrown into the glamorous world of pageantry when she competed in Miss World in 2004 when she was just 21.

'I won (Miss England) and then I was whisked away to do a photoshoot and it was exciting. Then came Miss World.

'It was crazy - the amount of surgery that the girls had was incredible. It was eye opening for me, a little girl from Liverpool.

'You don't know what perfect is anymore... I went full steam ahead (with more surgeries) to get them bigger without thinking about what I was doing.'
