Nebraska woman sues 'all homosexuals' accusing them of being 'liars and deceivers and thieves'

  • The case is being brought by Sylvia Ann Driskell from Auburn
  • The 66-year-old claims to be an Ambassador for 'God and Jesus Christ'
  • Driskell argues that homosexuals 'know homosexuality is a sin'

All homosexuals on Earth are being sued by a Nebraska woman who’s contending that they ‘know homosexuality is a sin' and that they are 'liars and deceivers and thieves'.

She is prosecuting them on behalf of ‘God and His Son, Jesus Christ’ and claims to be their ‘Ambassador’.

The case has been brought by Sylvia Ann Driskell, from Auburn, who’s laid out her arguments in a seven-page petition to the United State District Court of Omaha.

Driskell doesn’t have any legal precedent to fall back on, instead she quotes from the Bible and puts forward dictionary definitions of sin.

She asks the court to decide if ‘homosexuality is a sin, or not’.

The defendants, she argues, ‘say it… is not… that they have the right to marry, to be parents and God doesn’t care that their [sic] homosexuals because He loves them’.

Driskell counters that ‘they the homosexuals know it is a sin to live a life of homosexuality’. ‘Why else,’ she asks, ‘would they have been hiding in a closet?’

She bolsters her argument by quoting from Leviticus, writing: ‘Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind. It is an abomination.’

And she goes on to accuse them of telling lies and being thieves, writing: 'We... know that if a child is raised in a home of liers [sic], an [sic] deceivers, and thieves that it is reasonable to believe that child will grow up to be one of the three, are all three.'

The 66-year-old adds: ‘Never before has our great nation the United States of America and our great state of Nebraska been besiege [sic] by sin.’

The suit has not gone on unnoticed by gay activists.

Steven Payne, writing in The Daily Kos, said: ‘Brian (his husband) and I will be liquidating our assets in preparation for a certain loss. We anticipate the restitution ordered to this woman will take us down to our very last penny. In the meantime, our fear is so great we have ceased and desisted being homosexual.’

While Metro.co.uk noted that Leviticus also ‘prohibits eating fat, mixing fabrics, tattoos, letting your hair become unkempt, tearing your clothes, drinking alcohol in holy places, eating or touching the carcass of any seafood without fins or scales, picking up grapes that have fallen in your vineyard’.
