They've been involved in a love triangle that's had the nation on tenterhooks for the past month.

And rivals Sam Reece and Jeremy McConnell, 25, will both be hosting parties in Newcastle on Monday night in bars just three doors away from each other.

Arriving at the city's railway station earlier in the evening, Sam didn't look fazed by the close proximity of the Irishman who struck up a close relationship with his then girlfriend Stephanie Davis, 22, inside the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The handsome reality star cut a cool figure in a beige coat over a plain white t-shirt and pair of light blue jeans with ripped knees.

Wearing a pair of comfy black and white kicks, Sam strolled with a smile on his face while dragging his luggage.

He was sporting a deep tan, a well-groomed beard and styled his short dark hair in a sweeping fashion.

He wrote: 'Me and steph have been perfect since we left the house. just to let people no. I love the girl.'

The model also retweeted a post from Caroline Pope, who refuted claims Jeremy had cheated on Stephanie with her.

During Friday night's CBB finale, Stephanie insisted Sam wasn't such an innocent party in their relationship, accusing him of cheating on her during their year together.

Speaking with host Emma Willis in her exit interview, the series runner-up said: 'If everything was sweet at home then it wouldn't have been like that. I was just accepting the love that I was given.

'He (Jeremy) just made me feel like I've never felt before and made me feel that bit of worth. He is the best thing going.

'I think beforehand I was in love with the idea of being in love. I think that's why I stuck with somebody who hurt me and it was toxic.'

But Sam denied Stephanie's allegations, posting on Twitter on Saturday: 'I can confirm that the accusation that Stephanie has made regarding me being unfaithful to her is completely untrue and very hurtful.'

Stephanie entered the house in a relationship with model Sam before growing increasingly close to Jeremy.

The duo could barely keep their hands off each other on the show, with many believing they had sex in the confines of the house - an accusation she refuted, yet things appeared to have turned sour on the outside world over the weekend.

The Daily Mirror reportedly obtained a recording sent by a disgruntled hotel guest staying in the same location as the CBB contestants on the night of the final.

A female voice, believed to be Stephanie's was heard saying: 'Are you actually for... real... I gave up everything for you. I love you to bits. I wanted to make love tonight.

'Oh my God... I would have given anything! No, I'm telling you... No get off me, get off me, I'm done with you now... Get off me! Don't touch me, don't touch me!'
