Clarkson show in doubt after lost voice

Kelly Clarkson's only Australian concert could be in jeopardy after the songstress pulled out of a performance on morning TV because she lost her voice.

Like the subject of her hit song Since You Been Gone, Clarkson's voice was nowhere to be found on Thursday morning and she was forced to cancel her Sunrise performance.

"I'm so sorry to all my fans about not being able to perform on Sunrise on this morning," the Grammy winning US singer said in a statement.

"I have no voice and the last thing I want to do is let anyone down.

Clarkson, who rose to fame after winning the first season of American Idol, is scheduled to perform at the Star Event Centre in Sydney on Friday.
