It had been a day to remember for Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez.

And what better way to celebrate their respective career highs than with a low key dinner away from the spotlight.

The dressed down pair met up together at La Esquina Corner Del, in New York on Monday night.

Gigi kept it simple in black trousers and a white hoodie, underneath a black jacket, while her pal bundled up in a winter coat.

They are sure to have had plenty to chat about - their meal came came hours after the unveiling of Gigi's incredible French Vogue cover, while Selena was fresh from the set of Inside Amy Schumer.

Selena, 23, had posted an Instagram of herself with the comedian labelling it 'My Office'.
