She splits her time between the UK and the US.

But that doesn’t mean Carrie Fisher’s French bulldog Gary isn’t far from her side.

The 59-year-old Star Wars actress was spotted out and about with her favorite four-legged friend as she ran errands in London on Sunday.

The actress was bundled up in a long black coat and crossed her arms at times to beat the winter chill.

She opted to leave the heels at home, instead choosing a pair of comfy sparkling green sequin sneakers.

The daughter of Debbie Reynolds looked to be in high spirits as she talked with a younger man outside a store front, her pooch seeming to steal all the attention.

She slung a black handbag over her left shoulder and wore a pair of black and red glasses as she wore her hair messy.

As she went to get into a vehicle she could be seen wearing a bluish vest and grey pants.

Fisher carried an extra set of glasses in her left hand. She opted to go without jewelry except for a couple of rings.

The writer is known for taking her pooch Gary wherever she travels.

In early December the pair took to the set of Good Morning America to promote the latest Star Wars film as she wore an old school pink and red cardigan while Gary wore a smart looking collar.

He seems to enjoy the limelight just as much as she does.

In mid-December Fisher was upstaged by Gary on the red carpet for the European premiére of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in London.

The adorable pet wasn't overawed by the scale of the occasion, instead he paced around casually and even played with his owner as fearsome Stormtroopers watched on.

Carrie, who played pin-up Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy, returned as General Leia in the latest installment, was more than happy to share the limelight at European premiere.
