'With the partner in crime': Celebrity Big Brother BFFs Gemma Collins and Danniella Westbrook reunite for a day of pampering

They became firm friends in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

And now they're free from the celeb compound, Danniella Westbrook and Gemma Collins are catching up over one of their favourite activities - a day of pampering.

The two blondes shared selfies as they hit a beauty salon together in their home county of Essex on Tuesday.

Gemma and Danniella show off their best pouts in one snap shared on Gemma's Instagram page, with both stars rocking pale pink lipstick.

Former TOWIE star Gemma looked as though she'd treated herself to her favourite Essex blow dry, with her voluminous locks styled into curls.

'Me and @danniellawestbrook today chilling @chloesbeautybaressex,' the star captioned the snap.

Danniella and her pal also shared another selfie as they pulled faces for the camera, with the ex EastEnders star writing: 'with the partner in crime @gemmacollins1 ❤️❤️❤️'

Gemma hinted the new best pals might be jetting off on holiday together as she shared the caption 'Fantastic day so far with @danniellawestbrook #excitingtimes' along with the airplane and bikini emojis.

The two blondes struck up a close friendship during their month in the CBB house, with Gemma evicted three days before the final, while Danniella finished in fifth place.

Famed for her troubled past, when she publicly struggled with a cocaine addiction and even found herself homeless last year, Danniella said that she wanted the public to see her for the person she is now.

She said: 'I did the show for work reasons, but when my son Kai said he was proud of me that was the best thing ever.'

'I wanted to regain people's trust,' she admitted. 'It's very easy to be perceived a certain way. I'm not that person. People can make up their own mind about me when they see me. There was nowhere to hide in [the CBB house].'
