Adam Johnson pleads GUILTY to sexual activity with a child

The 28-year-old Sunderland winger turned up at Bradford Crown Court this morning with his girlfriend Stacey Flounders. He pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a child and also admitted a charge of grooming, but denied two other charges of having sex with an underage girl. Johnson had initially denied all four charges against him, but at the last minute he changed his plea to guilty on two of the counts. He is now due to stand trial on the remaining two counts of sexual activity with a child.

The 'father and child' themed photography award was run by Childphotocompetition.com and attracted more than 1,000 entries from around the globe. The photographs, which were submitted from countries including China, Brazil, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Lithuania, Greece and Portugal, were whittled down to 35 finalists.

International Animal Rescue charity in Keptang, Indonesia, have built a forest school for orphaned orangutans where the youngsters can climb and swing from the ropes and barrels to learn 'wild' life'.

But today, Bubbles, the four-and-half-foot tall chimpanzee, (pictured left) calls home a sanctuary in Wauchula, Florida where he in arrived in 2005 and is now the dominant male in a group of chimpanzees. The 33-year-old chimp who gained fame after he was purchased for Jackson, resides among other semi-celebrity orangutans and chimpanzees including his best friend, Ripley, who once in an episode of Seinfeld spat water on Kramer
