Adam Johnson pleads GUILTY to sexual activity with a child

England footballer Adam Johnson (pictured today centre, inset and right playing for Sunderland) pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a child. He also admitted a charge of grooming, but denied two other charges of having sex with an underage girl. The 28-year-old Sunderland winger arrived at Bradford Crown Court this morning with his girlfriend Stacey Flounders (far left) for the start of his trial. Johnson had initially denied all four charges against him, but at the last minute he changed his plea to guilty on two of the counts. He is now due to stand trial on the remaining two counts of sexual activity with a child.
