Royalty in the FROW: Princess Mary sits front row at Copenhagen Fashion Week as she cheers on her favourite Danish designer

Crown Princess Mary attended the opening day of Copenhagen Fashion Week to sit front row and support one of her favourite Danish designers, Jesper Hovring.
The royal wore wide-legged pants and a beige top, paired with leopard print heels and a navy coat as she took in the collection.
The show, which was a collaboration between designers Jesper Hovring and Great Greenland, was held at five star hotel D'Angleterre on February 3.

All smiles: The show was on the opening day of Copenhagen Fashion Week and attracted an A-list Danish crowd
The Autumn/Winter runway show featured lots of black and grey metallic textures as well as golds, blues and a stunning muted red.
Jesper Hovring's signature ballgown designs also made an appearance, of which Princess Mary is a fan.
The collaboration with Great Greenland Furhouse also meant that seal fur was a centre of the collection, featuring in coat and vest designs.

Jesper Hovring said that in designing the collection he was inspired by traditional Greenlandic life, wanting to combine this with his modern, feminine designs.
'During my design process I have paid great attention to the profound Greenlandic culture and the life of the seal hunters, he said.
'This journey inspired me to create a modern collection based on classic values, but with an innovative fashion direction, while still upholding my customary sense of craftsmanship and eye for luxurious details.'

The designer said he was happy with the collaboration and feel of the show. 'I am very pleased with the result of the collection, especially the coats that combine seal and wool, which adds a young and modern feel to the design line,'he told Copenhagen Fashion week.
The designer is famous for his flowing gowns and wedding dresses, which are influenced by his background as a theatre costumier.
The Princess is known for her elegant and feminine style and has attended the Copenhagen fashion show multiple times. In 2015 she attended the show and even walked the runway to present an award, wearing white pants and a blouse with nude Valentino heels and a blush vest.

Mary has proven to be a fan of Jesper's designs previously, having worn dresses of his on several occasions over the years.
She wore a red Jesper Hovring dress with long sleeves and a ruffled bottom in 2013, when she attended the inauguration of King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands.
She wore a stunning blue one shoulder Jesper Hovring dress to the Queen of Denmark's New Year's Levee in January 2016, as well as to the 2014 Bambi Awards in 2014.
