And when it comes to her real life fashion, Game of Thrones star Lena Headey has a very individual sense of style.

The English actress, 42,wore head-to-toe print for a low-key stroll with a male pal in Studio City, Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Lena layered a blue print dress with off-the-shoulder sleeves over a pair of trousers in a clashing print.

She added a pair of comfy flat sandals and kept cool in the sunshine with a chic wide brimmed hat.

She stripped her makeup back to show off her natural beauty, while her lotus blossom, peonies and swallows tattoo was glimpsed on her back.

Lena - who has two children, son Wylie, five with ex-husband Peter Loughran, and her six-month-old daughter, whose name and father she hasn't publicly revealed - was enjoying some time off after a busy start to the year.

After Christmas with her family, Lena was back in Ireland to shoot more scenes for series six of Game of Thrones.

She then had promo duties for her latest film, the newly released Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, which sees her star as Lady Catherine de Bourgh.

The film features the characters of Jane Austen's beloved novel waging battle against the undead in 19th century England, and also stars Lena's GoT partner in crime Charles Dance as well as Downton Abbey's Lily James, Dr Who's Matt Smith and Boardwalk Empire's Jack Huston.

Lena will be back on the promo trail soon as the sixth season of HBO's Game of Thrones premieres April 24. 

Her character Cersei was last seen beaten and bloodied as she completed her walk of shame through the streets of King's Landing.
