If at first you don't succeed, fry, fry, fry again: David Beckham outs son Brooklyn's lack of pancake-flipping skills in embarrassing video
It's no secret the famous father-and-son pair are locked in an on-going social-media battle.
But David Beckham was celebrating getting one up on his eldest child Brooklyn on Tuesday as he successfully embarrassed him through the power of a five-second Instagram video.
The retired footballer got revenge on the 16-year-old aspiring photographer as he caught him on camera spectacularly failing at flipping pancakes in celebration of Shrove Tuesday.

If at first you don't succeed, fry, fry, fry again: David Beckham outed son Brooklyn's lack of pancake-flipping skills in an embarrassing video posted on his account on Tuesday
Brooklyn was seen messing up the tradition as his batter-based treat became stuck to the pan on his first attempt at flipping it over, screwing up his opportunity to show off.
It eventually became unstuck and still in one piece, he was able to turn it over, albeit not as perfectly as he'd have hoped.
However, the Burberry snapper refused to be deterred by his epic fail and proceeded to attempt an even trickier move.
Don't flip it like Beckham: Brooklyn, 16, was caught on camera failing at tossing pancakes in the air as he and David, 40, celebrated Shrove Tuesday together

Brooklyn spun round, simultaneously tossing the pancake in the air but his cockiness got the better of him.
As he whizzed around 360 degrees, his tasty treat came plummeting down only to land on the kitchen surface, much to his disappointment but his father's amusement.
Having a pop, 40-year-old David captioned the video: 'How not to flip a pancake starring my son ❤️.'
'Daddy showing the kids how it's done': The father-of-four boasted he showed off his more successful efforts in a video posted prior to the one starring Brooklyn
Realising he couldn't recover from the mishap, Brooklyn was forced to admit defeat and he hung his head in shame after sheepishly scraping his pancake off the side while the audience giggled.
David rubbed salt into the wound by showing off his more successful efforts earlier on. He boasted about showing the kids 'the way it's done' as he seemingly rustled up a storm in Gordon Ramsey's kitchen.
'Happy pancake day kids ... Daddy showing the way it's done... I love lemon and sugar ... @gordongram,' he bragged in the accompanying caption to the slow-motion clip.
Friends in high places: The family's good friend Gordon Ramsay was tagged in the video, suggesting the father-and-son were celebrating Shrove Tuesday with a pancake professional
