It was back to the day job for Jessica Wright as she was pictured heading to film scenes for the brand-new series of TOWIE in Essex on Wednesday - the first season since the passing of her beloved Nanny Pat in December.

The oldest member of the Wright clan cut a chic and conservative figure as she suited up for the first day back on set - Brentwood's famous nightclub The Sugar Hut the chosen location.

Jessica, 30, was spotted strutting to the famed venue with former original cast-member Joey Essex following closely behind her, sparking rumours he's set to make a sensational return after a two-year-plus hiatus from the show which launched his television career.

Heading into the famed venue - which has featured heavily in the ITVBe show since it started - the former co-stars appeared to be in high spirits.

However any fan's hopes of Joey returning to TOWIE will have top be shelved, as the popular reality star was at the Sugar Hut for a meeting with his management team - and not in any filming capacity.

Speaking to the MailOnline a member of Joey's management team clarified the situation, confirming he was 'not filming TOWIE'.

But if Joey was feeling left out by the cast filming in the same venue, he didn't show it, as he sported a beaming grin on his face as he sauntered into the venue.

Jess looked equally delighted to be at the venue, clearly relishing being back at work following the Wright family's emotional turmoil.

Stepping out in a chic and stylish business-like ensemble, the Essex beauty donned a lilac two-piece suit, which she teamed with a white pleated top.

Rounding off her stylish ensemble Jess wore a towering pair of lilac and yellow stilettos, featuring studded detailing.

The TOWIE stalwart kept her look uncluttered, only accessorising her look with a stone Prada handbag.

Wearing her her brunette tresses perfectly coiffed into immaculate bouncing waves, Jess allowed her hair to tumble down around her shoulders.

Opting for simple palette of make-up, Jess highlighted her eyes with a liberal dose of mascara, while she subtly plumped up her lips with flash of pale pink lipstick.

Joey, who now owns his own clothing label and ship, Fusey, rocked a casual and laid-back ensemble.

Opting for a retro eighties vibe, Joey went for double denim, wearing a stone-washed jacket and matching jeans.

Rounding his look off with a lilac and purple tee-shirt, the former TOWIE star added a fruther relaxed edge with a pair of brilliant white trainers.

And never one to leave his outfit in an incomplete state, The Jump series two winner sported a blingtastic golden watch, aviator-style shades and a bracelet; while he also hefted an orange leather holdall along.
