There's only a few days to go before she turns 50 yet Cindy Crawford is so confident of her ageless looks that she happily ran errands without any make-up on Wednesday.

The supermodel, who celebrates the big 5-0 on February 20, drove herself around town in the LA sunshine.

Cindy defied the years, revealing a face with barely a wrinkle and a glowing healthy skin that showcases her natural beauty.

The five-feet, nine-inch stunner showcased her long legs in a pair of white jeans that were slightly flared at the bottom and wedge sandals.

She wore a black sleeveless top that flattered her toned arms and added a leather belt with a large black and gold statement buckle.

The model kept her jewelry simple with a pair of drop earrings and matching gold neck chain and gold wristwatch, and carried a black purse and cell phone.

The 49-year-old fashion icon told United Airlines magazine Rhapsody recently that she doesn't want to have to keep 'proving herself' after a 30-year career in front of the camera.

'I'm sure I'll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore,' she said.

Cindy's clearly ready to embrace a form of retirement where there is less pressure on her to live up to her legend, although she moved quickly to clarify reports Sunday that she'd said she would 'move on' from modeling after her 50th birthday.

Nostalgic? The supermodel shared a throwback snap of herself in her heyday on Wednesday, with the caption: 'in honor of #NYFW kick off tomorrow. On the runway with @CalvinKlein...'

Still has it: The mom-of-two also recently recreated her famous 1992 Pepsi Super Bowl commercial with The Late Late Show's James Corden

'Every year, I tell my kids I'm retiring. It's a running joke in our family. And yet every year, opportunities pop up that really excite me,' she explained in a long Instagram post.

'While it's true that I'm eager to shift my focus a bit to concentrate on my businesses, friends and family - I'm not making any final statements (not all headlines tell the whole story!).'

She continued: 'I have loved being part of the fashion industry for the past 30 years - and if that time has taught me anything, it's this: never say never. Thanks for all the support, I'm so excited for what 2016 hold! xo Cindy.'

The brunette beauty has been married for 18 years to businessman Rande Gerber, 53, with whom she shares two children: son Presley, 16, and daughter Kaia, 14.
