She's been struggling to shake off a nasty flu.

But Lady Gaga didn't let the illness slow her down as she attended a Saint Laurent fashion show at the Palladium in Los Angeles on Wednesday, soon after sharing a photo of herself hooked up to an IV and joking it was full of vodka.

The American Horror Story star stood out in a sequined, gold Saint Laurent tuxedo jacket with a black lapel and rocked wild curls as she led the star arrivals at the anticipated fashion show.

Rock on: Lady Gaga, who is suffering from the flu, rallied to attend a Saint Laurent event in Los Angeles on Wednesday, looking fabulous in a glittering gold blazer

Despite being under the weather, the pop superstar appeared to be having fun, flashing a heavy metal sign and giving a wink as she arrived at the event.

Lady Gaga wore a thin white blouse under the dazzling gold jacket and added smart black pants and slipper-style flats, ditching her favoured vertiginous heels.

The fashion-forward star wore her platinum blonde hair in tight curls, another new look for the style chameleon. She finished off her look with understated makeup, adding just a slick of shimmering eyeshadow.

New York Fashion Week is just around the corner, but Saint Laurent got ahead of the game putting on a fashion show in LA last night.

Amongst the FROWers was Lady Gaga who sported a classic Saint Laurent 'Le Smoking' tuxedo suit. First created in 1966, it was an important sartorial moment in fashion history and set precedents for women wearing trouser suits and more androgynous tailoring.

But of course Lady Gaga mixed it up a bit, opting for a sequin jacket and untucked shirt for her own take on the look.

The singer, who wowed the audience with her show-stopping rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl on Sunday, appeared to be having fun as she chatted with other musicians at the bash.

Lady Gaga later donned black and gold round glasses as she chatted with indie icon Beck and rocker Courtney Love, 51, who showed off her figure in a skintight little black dress with a daring front split.

Meanwhile, Beck, 45, looked dapper in a slim pink tuxedo-style Saint Laurent coat and skinny black tie.

And she also posted a black and white video of her hair stylist blowing out her curls. 'Fashion Week doesn't care if ure sick,' Gaga wrote.
