The catwalk queen slicked her dark brown tresses up into a chic and sensible hairdo, save for a single curl that twisted and rested beside her forehead.

As Irina walked the runway, the model seemed to even channel Derek Zoolander, as she gave a determined expression reminiscent of his iconic Blue Steel.

But aside from audience members, Irina was also busy wowing her peers behind-the-scenes with a Zoolander inspired strut.

Penelope Cruz is a new addition to the cast as Valentina Valencia, an Interpol special agent with a penchant for riding motorcycles.

The sequel also sees Will Ferrell back as Jacobim Mugatu and Ben's wife Christine Taylor as journalist Matilda Jeffries.

Speaking in Australia last month, Ben admitted the long delay between the first film and the sequel had been down to the death of the original movie's co-writer Drake Sather, who died in 2004.

Ben told the Sydney Morning Herald: 'As time went by, I think that's when it started to feel like, OK, there's a way to approach this but almost out of respect I felt like I couldn't just jump back into it.

'Drake was one of the funniest, incredibly sardonic, smart stand-up comedians on the scene.

'So for me, when we finally got around to making [the sequel], I felt like there just had to be a sense of acknowledgment that the character in the movie wouldn't exist without his talent.'

Zoolander 2 is released in cinemas on 12 February.
