Kocktails With Khloe gets green light for another 15 episodes and network boss praises her 'ability to draw upscale millennial viewers'

Khloe Kardashian's chat show has received an additional 15-episode order.

Kocktails with Khloe was initially commissioned for eight episodes on the FYI channel but TV bosses were so impressed with its debut, which was the highest-rated series premiere in network history, that they quickly ordered more episodes.

FYI’s senior vice president of programming and development Gena McCarthy said: 'Khloe and her iconic brand have struck a chord with FYI viewers, who have been extremely interactive with the show on social media. Her ability to draw upscale millennial viewers across all our platforms in record numbers is a game changer for FYI.'

The chat show, hosted by 31-year-old Khloe, sees the reality TV star joined by celebrity guests at dinner parties where they chat, cook and play party games.

And although she has had a number of her family members on the show as guests, she admitted she prefers interviewing strangers.

She said: 'I operate better when the guests are strangers and not a part of my family. With new people I'm not as relaxed and it's a tighter ship and I get the show going a little better,' she stated.

'I thought it would be the other way around, and that's why I wanted my family on in the earlier episodes, while I got comfortable. I didn't have my family on in the episodes that haven't aired yet, and they're just fantastic,' she noted.

'It's nothing against my family, I'm just so comfortable that I kind of let them do their thing and I don't really take control as much, which is so interesting to me,' she finished.

Her family will not be present on Wednesday's episode, which features reality star Tori Spelling.

In a teaser for the episode, Spelling makes a rather cringe-worthy admission about how she often urinates in public when drunk.

The truth: And although she has had a number of her family members on the show as guests, she admitted she prefers interviewing strangers, so that she won't be too comfortable
