They both claimed to be 'single' during recent interviews.

But Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas were allegedly spotted kissing at DirecTV's Super Bowl party at Pier 70 in San Francisco on Saturday, according to US Weekly.

The magazine reports that Nick, 23, walked up to Kate, 36, and that the two chatted for 45 minutes, with their source claiming: 'They sneaked in kisses. Nick had his eye on the prize.'

The insider told the magazine that the pair eventually left together, adding that 'it's still no strings attached with them.'

The actress and the singer were first seen together in September, after being introduced by Kate's older brother, Oliver Hudson.

The duo spent time together at California's Mammoth ski resort in January, but were believed to have split up shortly after.

Nick used the past tense when discussing their relationship in the new issue of Complex magazine.

He said: 'Kate's incredible. We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that's beautiful.'

Nick added: 'Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I'm not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She's amazing.'

And days before the Super Bowl, the mom of two told People Magazine: 'I'm very much enjoying being single. That's very nice. And being focused on work and kids is really nice.'

The blonde beauty, who is set to release her first book, Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways To Love Your Body, is mom to 12-year-old Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson and four-year-old Bingham with ex-partner Matt Bellamy.

Nick was recently linked to actress Lily Collins, after they were spotted having a great time together at Bowlero in Los Angeles on January 30.

They have known each other for several years, with US Weekly's source revealing that 'Nick really likes Lily.'
