Bobby Cannavale and Rose Byrne Welcome Son Rocco
It’s a boy for Bobby Cannavale and Rose Byrne!
During a Friday appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the actor revealed that he and Byrne had welcomed a son, Rocco, on Monday, Feb. 1.
The actor also joked that he had gained “28 pounds” and that he is “doing well.”
Cannavale had fun describing the diaper cake gifted to him by friend Al Pacino. ” ‘For your boy!’ ” Cannavale, 45, told Colbert, imitating Pacino as he handed over the present.

Cannavale and Byrne, 36, revealed the pregnancy in the fall, three years after they began dating. (The actor is also the father of a 20-year-old son — “nice grouping,” Colbert joked.)
Byrne told PEOPLE last year of their relationship, “Bobby’s a great cook. He’s Cuban and he does a couple of really good Cuban dishes like arroz con pollo and Cuban cocktails. He’s better than I am. I’m the good cleaner after!”
And of their sometimes overlapping careers, having now co-starred in Spy, Annie and Adult Beginners?
It “is a very intense thing you can experience together,” Byrne told PEOPLE. “It’s not for everybody, but I think he’s such a great actor.”
