'Take the control back!' Khloe Kardashian leaves fans guessing as she slams 'toxic people and mindsets' in a long emotional Instagram rant  

This star is putting the people in her life on notice - you are expendable, her happiness is not.

Just a day after revealing she misses her brother Rob Kardashian now that he is in a relationship, Khloe has poured her heart out on social media.

The 31-year-old kicked off Saturday with an epic Instagram tirade which was both inspirational, emotional and a little vitriolic.

Fans were at a loss to determine who Khloe's words were targeted towards but one thing was for sure, she plans to let nothing get in the way of her happiness.

Khloe's tirade came after she posted the often social media circulated quote 'You never really see how toxic someone is until you breathe fresh air'.

Without identifying anyone, the star then posted a long emotional caption.

'Let me remind you that we don't need anybody's approval to be happy in life. It's on you to validate and accept your version of happiness. Take the control back. You choose your life. Don't let anyone else decide for you. 

Poison people? Khloe's tirade came after she posted this often social media circulated quote

'We are no victims to life. No prisoners. But we do become victims and prisoners to the people we choose to surround ourselves with. 

'We tend to become content, passive and blind within our relationships. Whether it be a family member, business partner, friend or a lover. Out of comfort and possibly fear. The unknown will leave you stuck in a bad situation. Choosing comfort over your own happiness.'

Reminding her fans that being fearless is key, Khloe spoke of the need to let go rather than just give up because 'holding on can damage you deeper. Those scars run deep'.

Stopping to smell the roses: The star then treated herself to a pick-me-up of pretty pink peonies

'Giving up means you are selling yourself short... Letting go means freeing yourself from something that is no longer beneficial to your personal growth.'

Suggesting she was talking about a person in her life, the star continued: 'It means removing toxic people and toxic mindsets from your life so that you can make room for relationships and ideas that are conducive to your happiness and ever evolving personal expansion. 

'Giving up is self-defeat. Letting go is self-love.'

Khloe's emotional outburst comes at a tough time for the star.

The 32-year-old has long been close to her reclusive brother Rob, but it seems now that Rob is dating Blac Chyna, the sibling relationship has soured.

After over a year of exiling himself, Rob has returned to public life with his new girlfriend who also happens to be their ex of Tyga, half-sister Kylie Jenner's current boyfriend.

The 28-year-old has also started to mend his tumultuous relationship with big sister Kim.

However, his closet ally Khloe posted on Friday that she misses her brother with a black and white flashback picture of her and her brother on Instagram.

The post, accompanied by three unhappy emojis, read: 'It's simple... I miss you.'

Khloe has also been running herself ragged to support estranged husband Lamar Odom, who was been in hospital since October.

Lamar was left briefly in a coma after overdosing at a brothel and then suffering multiple strokes.

The former NBA star has been left with cognitive impairment that has affected his speak, his ability to walk and his memory.

Lamar was seen for the first time in public earlier this month when he flew with the Kardashians to New York for Kanye West's fashion and album launch.
