Daniel-Andre Tande eclipsed the 1998 record for a ski jump on the Puijo hill in Kuopio, Finland, and led Norway to a World Cup team victory.

Tande jumped 136 meters (about 446 feet) — beating the record of 135.5 meters, set by Masahiko Harada of Japan — and recorded 132 meters with his second jump.

Norway amassed 1,057.2 points with its team of Kenneth Gangnes, Tande, Anders Fannemel and Johann Andre Forfang.

Germany was second, with 1,002.8 points, and Japan finished third, with 935.4.
