Our Leadership

Evan Feinberg is the Executive Director of Stand Together, providing organizational leadership and direction. Evan is an experienced leader in non-profit management and social welfare causes. Evan previously served as the President of Generation Opportunity, a Millennial advocacy organization, and in various roles on Capitol Hill.

As a leader for Stand Together, Mr. Feinberg provides his vision, enthusiasm, and deep concern for improving the lives of the least fortunate to help support and advocate for ways to help more people live full, meaningful lives. Evan and his wife Sarah, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, are active in the community, including serving as hosts to an Afghani refugee family. Evan and Sarah live in Virginia with their three sons, Luke (age 4) and twin baby boys, Zack and Jake.

Lauren McCann is Executive Vice President of Stand Together where she leads our operations, external relations, and partnership development. Lauren brings to Stand Together diverse experience as an accomplished senior executive working at the intersection of business, philanthropy, and stakeholder relations. Prior to joining Stand Together, Lauren served as vice president of strategic development for the National Association of Manufacturers.

Over the last decade, Ms. McCann held several leadership positions in the non-profit sector in the areas of higher education, research, and mental health. Lauren served as an advisor for America’s Future Foundation in Chicago and was a member of TEAMPAWS, a charity racing and fundraising team that benefited an animal shelter. Lauren lives in Virginia with her husband Ryan and daughter Kaley.
