They both have significant relationships behind them.

Now it seems actress Robin Wright's ex-fiancé, Ben Foster, may have found happiness with White Stripes frontman Jack White's former wife, Karen Elson.

The pair were spotted walking arm-in-arm in the East Village neighborhood of New York on a rainy Monday morning.

The 37-year-old British model and singer looked chic despite the terrible weather.

She wore a smart black jacket over a black and white skirt, opaque black tights and black bootees.

Karen, who smoother her flame red hair back from her face, didn't appear to be wearing much in the way of make-up, revealing her beautiful pale complexion.

She accessorised with a chiffon scarf that she tied around her neck and a beige leather handbag on a chain that she slung over her shoulder.

Actor Ben looked more ready for a hike in the country than the city in a dark, waxed jacket over a denim shirt and baggy jeans plus heavy walking boots.

The 34-year-old Lone Survivor star wore a satchel across his body and he sported a full beard and moustache as he covered his hair from the rain in a trilby hat.

There was no indication on either of their social media accounts that they had hooked up but they are certainly free.

Ben and Robin finally called time on their on-off engagement last August after three years together.

Karen and Jack, who share two children, Scarlett, who is coming up 10, and eight-year-old Henry Lee, divorced in 2013 after eight years together.
