The saucy Hannibal star looked in fine form indeed in a woollen coat, striking red dress and gladiator-style high heels.

And she had regained her composure by the time she made it inside and took to the podium.

The tub-thumping Oscar-winner said: 'Hillary has always fought for us and now it’s our turn to fight for her.'

The three hour celebration served as an endorsement from musicians such as Sir Elton John and Katy Perry, as well as actors like Jamie Foxx.

'I want you to stay with her. Nominate her! Thank you!' said former president Bill Clinton.

'I’m running for president because I want to break down barriers,' said Clinton who named Wednesday 'Super Wednesday.'

Tickets to the star-studded event ranged between $125 and $2,700 and all the proceeds went to the Hillary Victory Fund which is expected to raise millions of dollars.
