'There's no limit to this': Former boyband rivals Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy confirm they are uniting as a duo for a tour as Boyzlife

Busted and McFly made 2000 pop fans' dreams come true when they announced they were to become one band in 2013.

And Nineties heartthrobs Boyzone and Westlife are to follow suit as Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy are coming together to create a super-duo, called Boyzlife.

The former pop stars are spearheading the venture and revealed it 'has no limits' as they shared their plans to tour together.

The pair will share stories from their pop hey-day, as well performing each of their bands best known hits.

Bryan and Keith will hit the road in March with a 12-date tour across the UK.

Former Coronation Street star Keith says: 'Brian and I have been talking about this for a while so it’s really exciting to finally be able to reveal Boyzlife.

'We can’t wait to get out on the road and reconnect with our fans, taking a trip down memory lane. We’re thrilled to be partnering exclusively with Hilton Hotels & Resorts for the tour.'

'There’s no limit to this. We’re going out there with our ears and eyes open,' Keith said.

Meanwhile, 35-year-old Brian didn't rule out the possibility of recruiting additional members, saying: 'We could end up adding more people to the next one. Right now this is about me and Keith but the door is always open.'

Brian and Keith are also open to the idea of writing new music and even have hopes to make a new reality series documenting the reunion.

Brian is perhaps the most unlikely Westlife band-member to represent their group as he was the first to bow out in 2004 - eight years before they eventually went their separate ways.

He quit the band to spend more time with his family - he was married to first wife Kerry Katona, whom he had two daughters with, at the time - and properly pursue his solo career.

The Jump contestant experienced mixed success with his most notable achievements being his one number 1 single in the UK and two in Australia.

Meanwhile, Keith attempted to crack the film and television industry after Boyzone disbanded in 2000.

He appeared on the 2001 series of Celebrity Big Brother and had a very brief stint on ITV's Splash in 2014 but it was his role as Ciaran McCarthy on Coronation Street which put him on the radar.

Boyzone reunited temporarily in 2008 for a UK and Ireland tour. Their Better tour in 2009 was the last to feature Stephen Gately who died suddenly on October 10.
