The man mountain is playing Mitch Buchannon, the role made famous by David Hasselhoff in the iconic 90s TV show, and he is starring alongside Zac Efron, Kelly Rohrback, and Alexandra Daddario.

He spoke about how much fun he is having on set on Instagram last week, saying: 'My character... just gave @zacefron's character Matt Brody the all important beach speech about what it means to have manly "Alpha b***s".

'Zac's ad-libbed responses were brilliant! Talented and great dude. World get ready to have some fun, 'cause the beach will never be the same again.'

Baywatch the movie is slated for a May 2017 release.
