Oscar shocker as Best Actress Brie scoffs a burger!

She was the epitome of elegance as she collected her Best Actress Oscar on Sunday evening, but Brie Larson, who won for her role in psychological thriller Room, showed a different side at the Vanity Fair after-party.

The 26-year-old posed on a sofa with her statuette, then swapped her heels for a pair of dirty trainers, which she plonked on a table while stuffing a burger into her mouth.

No doubt the poor mite was starving after weeks of pre-awards preparation, which in Hollywood appeared to involve eating as little as humanly possible, if her fellow guests were anything to go by.

Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes, who previously acted in BBC drama Monarch Of The Glen, takes an olfactory approach to showbusiness. 

He says: ‘As an actor, it’s always, “How do you smell? Do you smell like a leading player? Do you smell like an actor who is going somewhere? Do you smell like someone who is slipping?”'

Smelling like an over-ripe ham presumably means: ‘Don’t give up the day job.’

London-based Lily, whose mother Sunetra Sastry divorced Rowan last November after 24 years of marriage, shared the snap while pining for warmer weather, writing: ‘Take me back to holiday and sun and beaches! England is f****** cold.’

He’s the Lord Of The Rings hunk who was briefly married to a Victoria’s Secret model.

But now actor Orlando Bloom, 39, who has a five-year-old son with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, has been spotted holding hands with his new squeeze, American pop star Katy Perry, on holiday in Hawaii this week, where they sported traditional tourist garb.

While Bloom looked toned in Baywatch-red trunks, Perry, 31, sported unflattering shorts and a white vest that clung to her belly. It must be love.
