The brainchild of Samantha Raye who used her Photoshop skills to create the quirky images, the account is nothing if not colourful.

It's not clear exactly what the inspiration behind the creations are, or indeed if she's trying to make a particular point. But they have certainly kept followers amused since the account appeared just over six weeks ago.

She's also been merged with another confection in an image in which she appears to be part of a pink glazed doughnut.

Wearing a pink gown and clutching a white lap dog, she looks good enough to eat.

The mother-of-four is also seen sitting on top of a slice of toast spread with smashed avocado, wearing a fittingly green top and trousers with cowboy boots.

With more Oscar nominations under her belt than any other actor in history, a marriage of 37 years and a film career that's still going strong at the age of 66, it would seem like there are few goals Meryl Streep hasn't reached in life.

However, she can now add bathing in a glass of milk and being immortalised as a cheeseboard to her impressive roster of achievements.

MERYL'S STELLAR ACTING CAREER

Meryl made her Academy Awards debut in 1979 when she was nominated for her supporting role in The Deer Hunter.

A year later she won Best Supporting Actress for Kramer vs. Kramer.

In 1983 she was awarded Best Actress for Sophie's Choice.

She won again for The Iron Lady in 2012.

Over the course of 37 years, Meryl has been nominated for 19 Academy Awards and holds the record for most Oscar nominations by any actor.

Her most recent nomination was Best Supporting Actress for In The Woods in 2014.

A more modest, but no less bizarre shot sees the Mamma Mia star replacing the celery stick in a Bloody Mary cocktail.

She wore the exact same outfit in red to the London premiere of Mamma Mia in 2008, so it seems that Stephanie has used her digital wizardry skills to turn her a convincingly green celery stick.

Another pork themed shot see the actress in a powder pink suit, grappling with a giant ham that's studded with pineapples and cherries.

Her most recent Oscar-winning role in the Iron Lady, for which she scooped the Best Actress gong in 2012, gets a nod in a cheeky picture of 'Margaret Hatcher' in which she's seen coming out of an egg.

The smiling actress looks delighted as she pushes the two sides of the shell away, but she seems less than thrilled to be perched on top of a hot dog, looking as if she might slide off the thick layer of ketchup and mustard.

She looks more at home with another junk food treat, as she sits alongside a pile of tortilla chips with melted cheese as if she's perching on a sofa.

Stephanie describes the combination of 'sour cream Meryl' and Mexican food as the 'new Oscars diet'.

Breakfast time is not forgotten about either. A bowl of sugary looking mutlicolured cereal is made look a lot more alluring by the addition of a worried looking Meryl, who is wearing a fittingly pastel purple dressing gown.

Admittedly, she does appear slightly horrified to be plonked in the middle of a bowl of cereal.

But by contrast, she looks entirely at home sitting in a pot of chocolate dip, which comes with mini biscuits for dunking.
