AnnaLynne McCord and Dominic Purcell are officially back together.

The 90210 actress and Prison Break star recently rekindled their romance, after they split in 2014 following a three year relationship.

'I'm very happy, I have my best friend back, so it's cool,' the blonde beauty gushed on the podcast Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss.

Back on! AnnaLynne McCord, 28, and Dominic Purcell, 46, are officially back together (pictured in June 2014)

The award-winning actress revealed that the pair became friends again after Dominic, 46, was diagnosed with skin cancer last year.

But their relationship soon turned romantic again as she explained: 'I came back into his life as his friend, and I took him to his doctor's appointments.'

'I was there with him because whether or not he knew it, I love him,' McCord, 28, confessed.

'One of the things he said was, "You really love me, don't you?" I was like… "Oh my God. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?" '

The former Dallas star continued: ' "After all this time, you still don't know that? I gave up all my 20s for you!" '

She added that some of their previous problems included his lack of trust because previous women in his life had taken advantage of him.

AnnaLynne explained that other women had presumed the hunky actor was 'not intelligent because of how he looks.'

However, she insisted: 'One of the things that’s sexiest about him is how incredibly intelligent he is, and well read, and prolific and a big thinker.'

The lovebirds began dating in 2011 and Dominic has four children from a previous marriage..

While Purcell's love life is on the upswing so is his career as his hit Fox show Prison Break was announced for a sequel in January.

Wentworth Miller, 43, and Dominic will return as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows.

It’s been almost seven years since the Golden Globe nominated show concluded its four-year run in May 2009.
