Pregnant Chrissy Teigen exhibits her blossoming bump in a VERY tight black dress after The Late Show visit as cookbook promo trail continues

She's embracing her growing baby bump like the fashionista she is. 

Chrissy Teigen was looking saucy and stylish even in her pregnant state as she left an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in New York City on Tuesday.

Wearing her third outfit of the day, the 30-year-old mom-to-be wore a very tight black dress with a vertical design hugging her protruding bump, black pointy heels and a long black coat.

Oh, mama: Pregnant Chrissy Teigen flaunted her burgeoning bump as she emerged from The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Tuesday 

Chrissy - who is expecting a baby girl with husband John Legend - was smiling with boundless energy while strolling across the sidewalk in her stilettos, a fashionable handbag in her grasp.

Her coat couldn't cover the growing bump and at this point Chrissy made no move to hide it. 

Earlier in the evening, Chrissy rocked a tight black top, black leggings and a saucy pair of over the knee leather boots as she headed the studio where The Late Show is taped.

Bye baby: Chrissy was no doubt looking forward to some rest and relaxation and perhaps a meal as she left the talk show where she promoted her new cookbook Cravings

She's got stripes: Twin strips of light flesh-toned material followed the curves of Chrissy's expanding waistline 

The Lip Sync Battle co-host gave a lesson in perfect winter style as she teamed her sexy footwear with an all black ensemble of skinny black trousers and a fitted top - which she covered with a military-style three-quarter length coat.

The beauty wore her long, caramel tresses in a center part for the busy day, and styled in soft curls that cascaded over her shoulders. 

Chrissy went for a more natural make-up look, sporting a nude lipstick and adding a soft peachy blush to her cheeks.

She hid her eyes behind an over-sized pair of black, cat eye sunglasses and accessorised with a gold choker necklace as she grabbed lunch with a pal before getting back to her schedule. 

The star - about whom Legend wrote All Of Me - was without her husband as she promoted her new cookbook Cravings, in the city. 

She started the day with an appearance on Good Morning America and LIVE with Kelly and Michael.

The mom-to-be looked radiant in a long-sleeved, figure-hugging indigo dress.

The fitted dress hit at just above the knee, also showing off the model's shapely pins, which were perfectly displayed thanks to a pair of coordinating, strappy heels.

She matched the flattering number with a coordinating satin jacket, which billowed behind her as she walked.

The Cravings author also joined Robin Roberts in GMA's kitchen to give a demonstration on her Chipotle Honey Chicken with Mango-Avocado Salsa. 

Chrissy admitted - while speaking with Robin - that she didn't expect quite the negative feedback that she and her husband had faced recently after revealing that she and John chose to have a baby girl. 

The FABLife co-host used IVF to conceive, and admitted they selected a female embryo.

She defended the action saying that she didn't realize it was a process that wasn't really talked about - 'in my world it is,' Chrissy noted.

'Everyone I know has gone through this. So I said it so casually, and then I didn't anticipate the people that had never heard of such a thing before,' she explained of the surprising controversy.

'We're happy with our decision, and we're proud of it,' Chrissy said. 'And we're glad that we're living in a time that we can do such a thing.'

'He deserves a baby girl. Look at him,' Chrissy added, of husband John. 'He's so good to me, obviously, and he's just going to be the most doting, amazing father to a baby girl - a baby boy, too. But we all know boys love their mommy. So I'll give him this time first, and then next time it'll be mine.'

The star has been proudly showing off her growing bump - but fearlessly shared recently with Allure that her butt is covered in stretch marks.

The Sports Illustrated stunner admitted that she is taking matters into her own hands by slathering her model figure with $340-a-bottle La Mer The Concentrate in the hopes of fighting those 'tiger stripes.'

'Luckily, I'm with a man who could not care less about them or else I would be insecure,' Chrissy gushed, about John's feelings toward stretch marks on her butt and thighs, though she added: 'but during my pregnancy, it was my belly I was scared of.'

'I knew I'd have to do something about it before I started seeing them,' the star said, adding that La Mer The Concentrate 'saved my life.'

'I'm constantly 25 minutes late to everything because my lotion regimen is that long,' she joked. 'I put it everywhere.'
