Repeat offender! Naomi Watts rugs up in her favourite grey coat and hat ensemble as she runs errands in New York

Celebrities are rarely seen in the same outfit twice, however it appears Naomi Watts prefers to recycle her outfits, stepping out in New York City wearing the same faithful coat and matching beanie hat she wore the previous day.

The Birdman actress kept it simple pairing the coat with dark blue leggings and white trainers while running errands.

With the temperature reaching a cool seven degrees in New York, Naomi finished her winter look by keeping with the same neutral tones and sporting a grey scarf and tortoise shell sunglasses.

Wearing her signature blonde locks loose underneath her beanie and make-up free, Naomi looked warm and happy strolling around the streets with a black studded bag hanging across her body.

She wore an almost identical look only days ago when she was seen picking up her son, Alexander from school wearing the same coat and scarf.

The only difference between the looks was a pair of skinny jeans, green knit and red beanie.

The 47-year-old's laid back, casual look on the streets is a far cry from her glamorous red carpet appearance at the Oscars on Sunday.

Naomi was on hand to support long-term partner Liev Schreiber, whose film Spotlight won Best Picture on the night.

Liev played Boston Globe editor Marty Baron in the drama about a local newspaper's exposé of child sexual abuse in the Catholic Church.

The couple, who have been together since 2005, looked every bit the glamorous Hollywood couple at the Oscars.

On the night Liev opting for a traditional black suit with bowtie and white shirt while Naomi shone in a purple and blue strapless sequined Armani Prive gown. 

Naomi topped off her red carpet look with a red lip and a loving arm around her partner of over a decade.
