2015 Snowmass Wine Festival Takes Flight September 18 19 in Snowmass Village
Experience an incredible weekend of food, flavors, sights, and sounds at the Snowmass Wine Festival, hosted by Rotary Club of Snowmass Village.
Join us for this years wine dinner New Zealand Beyond Sauvignon Blanc on Friday evening, September 18 at 6:30pm with an extraordinary four-course wine dinner at the Viceroy Snowmass in Snowmass Village. Help us discover these distinct wine growing regions spread throughout New Zealand. Folks start arriving Friday evening at 6:30pm.
New Zealand wine is distinctive for its purity, vibrancy and intensity. The long ripening period a result of cool temperatures allows flavor development while retaining fresh acidity, a balance for which New Zealand wines are renowned.
Price is discounted at $135 per person. This amazing dinner sells out every year, so we recommend getting tickets early. Have a group you want to dine with, buy a table of eight or ten. The menu will be coming soon!
Saturdays Grand Tasting will once again allow attendees to taste a vast variety of top wines, and cuisine from some of the Valleys best-known restaurants, while taking in great music from Walt Smith Friends, and scenery of this beautiful Snowmass area. The fun-filled event is located at Town Park (soccer field) next to Snowmass Recreation Center, Snowmass Village. Take part in the silent auction offering trips to destinations around the world, acclaimed wines and fine artwork, and new to the festival this year, check out the Motoring Classic, featuring extraordinary rare cars from 1965-1995.
Funds raised are allocated to non-profit organizations across the Roaring Fork Valley, and charitable organizations worldwide.
Top off this awesome Snowmass weekend by attending the 40th Annual Snowmass Balloon Festival, one of the highest hot air balloon festivals in the U.S. and most colorful weekends of the year in Snowmass Village.
