Sacha Baron Cohen made a series of very crude sex jokes about Kim Kardashian while promoting his film The Dictator back in 2012.

But it seems the comedian has now been warmly welcomed into her circle of friends.

The 35-year-old reality star shared a group picture on Tuesday after watching an early screening of the British star's upcoming film The Brothers Grimsby.

Sacha and his wife Isla Fisher piled in for the lounge room snap.

New mother Kim wore all black and had her hair parted in the center as she posed beside her stylish husband and sister.

Sacha famously took a swipe at Kim four years ago while in character as The Dictator's Aladeen.

'Kim Kardashian, I know her very well,'he told Celebuzz. 'She came over to my palace. I paid her mother [Kris] $400,000 Euros for one night with her.

'Normally, you negotiate with an agent or a pimp but with the Kardashians, you negotiate with the mother,' he said.

'[Kim] is so hairy that when I removed her underpants, I thought I was staring in the mirror.'

Sacha, who attended the Oscars on Sunday with his wife and even reprised his character Ali G while presenting an award, is now promoting his latest project.

In the movie, due out March 11, Sacha portrays reformed football hooligan Norman 'Nobby' Grimsby (Cohen) who is forced to go on the run with his brother - a suave secret agent played by Kingsman star Mark Strong.

Meanwhile, Kim has made a big statement about where she stands when it comes to her husband's wild tweets.

On Friday the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star dedicated a post to her website kimkardashianwest.com to her spouse of two years under the heading 'Currently.'

When listing what she is 'loving' right now, the E! star wrote: 'My husband.' And the gushing just went on from there.

The looker also said that she 'hated' that people don’t get that Kanye 'will stand up against the whole world for his creativity and art.'
