Party girl Kate Moss swaps the club scene for a bedtime story as she falls asleep cuddling author Annabelle Neilson

She's famous for her hard-partying ways and fast-paced lifestyle.

But Kate Moss, 42, enjoyed a much more quiet and relaxing activity on Thursday when author Annabelle Neilson read her a story while the pair curled up in bed for World Book Day.

The book, Neilson's own 'Dreamy Me', proved to be the perfect bedtime story as the supermodel appeared fast asleep as she cuddled the author.

Independent publisher Fat Fox Books posted the snaps on Instagram and wrote by the second image: 'Who would you like a bedtime story from? Our author Annabelle Neilson reads her brilliant latest book in the fabulous Me Me Me's series, Dreamy Me, to Kate Moss... think it has lulled her into a perfect World Book Day snooze! #worldbookday #katemoss #childrensbook #reading #dreamyme #mememe #messyme #angryme #childrensday'

Kate showed she's still a beauty even when she's asleep. Her famous defined cheekbones were on show and her skin looked radiant while she slept.

The model tucked her blonde tresses behind her ears and appeared to be bare shouldered while laying next to her dark-haired pal.

Neilson's Dreamy Me is the third book in her The Me Me Me's series. According to a synopsis of the book on Amazon, its 'unique characters explore emotions and feelings through adventures in the magical land of The Me Me Me's'.

Kate was recently pictured out and about in London on crutches after injuring her knee on a skiing trip in Verbier, south-western Switzerland, with her boyfriend Count Nikolai von Bismarck, 28.

According to The Sun, the pair were on the lookout for a new pad in the capital.

An insider explained: 'Kate loves both her homes and will be keeping them. But she would like another one in town for her and Nikolai to use.

'It would give them a bit of privacy and would be really handy as they are both party animals and are often up late.

'The house would also be something special for her and Nikolai to share and would seal their relationship.'
