It's official! Fuller House's Jodie Sweetin confirms she is competing in next season of Dancing With The Stars

Talk about a comeback.

After years of being out of the spotlight, Jodie Sweetin is about to have a very big 2016.

On Wednesday, the 34-year-old revealed that the rumours are true and she will be part of the latest season of Dancing With The Stars.

Dancing it out: Jodie Sweetin confirmed the rumour that she will be on this season's Dancing With The Stars on GMA on Wednesday

Speaking to Good Morning America, the Fuller House star confirmed she will be getting her ballroom on come March 21 when season 22 airs on ABC.

The big news comes just days after Fuller House started streaming on Netflix.

Despite both dancing pros Maks Chmerkovskiy and Val Chmerkovskiy making appearances on the Fuller House remake, Jodie is actually being paired with Keo Motsepe.

The star may be at a serious advantage as she has danced since even before she even appeared on cult hit Full House and her character Stephanie Tanner was no stranger to busting out a move or two.

Fan favourite: While she has been out of the spotlight for some time, the Full House star has plenty of fans

Often during the show's run, the middle Tanner daughter would pull on her blue spandex dancing leggings and show off her skills.

Jodie said on GMA while she had turned down the show before, her love of dancing won out.

She said: 'I've always loved to dance, and Stephanie was a dancer on the show, and I danced growing up. ''I have some experience. I have some rhythm.'

As Jodie joins the cast, People also confirmed that pro and reigning Mirror Ball Champion, Derek Hough, will be sitting season 22 out. He is believed to have his sights set on Broadway.

Jodie is not the only cast member from Fuller House who has taken a spin on DWTS, co-star Candice Cameron Bure has also appeared on the show.

This year is certainly coming up Jodie, with the star getting engaged to boyfriend Justin Hodak in January while celebrating her birthday.

Jodie - who has been married three times - confirmed the happy news by sharing a photo of her dazzling diamond engagement ring on social media.

Jodie played Stephanie Tanner on the original hit show, which went off the air in 1995.

The star he revealed to People that going back to work as a full time actress is going to take some adjustment.

'It'll take some getting used to because I've been a full-time mom for a while, but I'm looking forward to it,' she told the publication.

The television vet has been married three times and has two children, seven-year-old Zoie Laurelmae and five-year-old Beatrix Carlin.

She is now sober after a difficult battle with drug addiction which she documented in her memoir unSweetined.
