What Was Kim Soo Hyun Like as a Student?

Kim Soo Hyun is the biggest star right now but what was he like as a student before his debut?

That’s what the crew of SBS’ Good Morning sought to find out as they chatted with those that knew Kim in his pre-debut years to find out more about his past.

Kim’s homeroom teacher from his first year of middle school shared, “I was actually surprised when Soo Hyun told me he wanted to become an actor. The reason being that he was such a quiet student in his first year of middle school that I never imagined he wanted to be an actor.”

But it seem Kim’s aspirations to be an actor really took off between his middle school and high school years as his high school home room teacher recalled, “[Kim Soo Hyun] would bring his script into class and would always practice to improve. Seeing that, I thought his words that he would be an actor wasn′t small talk.”

His high school friend commented on Kim’s talents saying, “[Soo Hyun] was on the quieter side most of the time but anytime there was a talent show he would always enter and bring back a prize.”

The show also took a look at some of Kim’s old photos. His middle and high school graduation photos showed he still had his good looks in his youth while his friend’s pictures showed he had a cheerful demeanor even then.
