They welcomed their first child together last month. 

And Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale were every inch the doting parents as they stepped out with their bundle of joy on Thursday. 

The couple looked incredibly happy as they strolled down the sidewalk in New York, with Boardwalk Empire star Bobby cradling their son Rocco in a sling on his chest.

Rose, 36, shunned make-up for the outing, showing off her post-pregnancy glow. She wrapped up in a grey beanie hat and warm jacket to brave the chilly temperatures, accessorising with a scarf.

The Bridesmaids star finished her look with some jeans and sneakers. 

Bobby was a touch smarter in a wool coat and shirt, wearing a pair of sunglasses throughout their walk. 

The 45-year-old also sported a hat to stay warm, completing his off-duty look with some jeans and sneakers.

The actor was seen tenderly kissing baby Rocco's head as the family made their way around, clearly smitten with the newest addition to the family. 

Rocco is Rose's first child while Bobby already has a 20-year-old son from a previous relationship. 

The famous couple managed to keep her pregnancy under wraps for months, with Bobby only confirming the news in October.

The star announced Rocco's birth during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last month, revealing that he had been given a diaper cake as a gift for his 'boy'. 

He later revealed that the pair had chosen to name their son Rocco Robin, his middle name the same as Rose's father.

Speaking to People, Bobby gushed: 'We just love the name. 

'His middle name is her dad’s name, Robin, and we liked the way it rang together.'
