Holly Willoughby revealed she had to have both legs in plaster when she was a teenager.

In a health segment on Thursday morning's This Morning, the 35-year-old revealed she had to have her limbs stretched as she was born with short tendons.

'When I was a kid, my tendons were really short. I had both legs put in plaster for six weeks to try and stretch it out. I had a lot of physio.

Telling all: Holly Willoughby revealed she had to have both legs in plaster when she was a teenager - she had previously walked on her toes because her tendons were too short

'I had a little thing put in my shoe, like a little in-step to stop the arches, my step wasn't right. Rest assured, for me, having gone through that and the physio, I am absolutely fine now.'

Holly's words came as viewers called in to talk about their own health problems - and one lady revealed her child had the same condition.

But the television presenter was able to offer some comfort when she said her problems were able to be fixed.

The show was a jam-packed one with Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley, 32, talking about being too busy to plan her wedding to fiancé Tom Pitfield.

Holly and Phil also received a call from Denise Robertson, MBE, from the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she is being treated for pancreatic cancer.

She said: 'I wish I was there with you. They are looking after me well - they couldn't be taking better care of me.

'The love and support I've been getting from everyone has meant so much.'
