She's been working tirelessly in recent months on her latest fashion line.

So it's no surprise Victoria Beckham felt the need to refuel and indulge a little, and she did so along with her parents and eldest child Brooklyn in London on Tuesday.

The 41-year-old fashion designer stepped out to grab a burger with her mother and father Jackie and Anthony Adams, and her 16-year-old son.

And, if she was at all feeling the effects of the drizzly, freezing cold weather in the capital, she didn't seem to show it as she rocked a pair of knee-length leggings for the lunch outing.

Looking more Sporty Spice than Posh Spice, the former girl band star showed off her slender pins in the cropped gym bottoms, flashing a fair amount of skin and teaming them with eye-catching orange trainers.

Shunning a proper coat, she covered her loose-fitting gym top with a black bomber jacket, and rocked her favourite Adidas cap to protect her face from the rain, her long brunette ponytail flowing over her shoulders.

The athleisure trend is as hot as ever. From Los Angeles to London, it's long over outre to step up to lunch or brunch in gym clothes. In fact, athletic wear these days is a downright stylish way to turn up, provided you haven't sweated in them first (it's generally a good idea to save the workouts for afterwards). Just think about the numerous pics of Khloe Kardashian and Rita Ora traipsing to the movies or through the airport in apparel by Adidas or Nike.

It helps that athleticwear brands -- one of the hottest brands to come out of the U.S. is Under Armour -- are paying attention to both style and functionality.

Brooklyn, meanwhile, appeared to be more suitably attired for the day, the fashionable young man rocking a pink hoodie under a camouflage jacket.

Not present for the midday outing was Victoria's husband David, and their three other children, sons Romeo and Cruz, and daughter Harper. 

Victoria and her family members seemed to be trying to enter the branch of Tommi's Burger Joint as subtly as possible, but diners inside the eatery couldn't help but notice the presence of an A-lister in their midst.

Tommi's sells classic beef burgers and other alternative options, ranging in price from £7.50 to just under £12, meaning that multi-millionaire Victoria was eating cheaply with her family for the day.

There's no doubt other's inside the burger bar would have been surprised at the slim star's arrival for a cheeky burger, as she is known for sticking to a fastidiously healthy diet in order to keep her frame trim.

The busy mother-of-four and top designer has previously divulged details of her regular eating regime, and it's all down to plenty of water and light meals involving mainly fish.

'You know, I eat very healthily. I eat lots of fish, lots of vegetables, and a lot of fruit. I work out every day, six or seven days,' she told Elle US in 2014. 

She has also been linked to the popular alkaline diet, and in 2013 became synonymous with Natasha Corrett and Vicki Edgson's foodie tome Honestly Healthy after she praised the plan online.

The ultra-strict regime warns against 'very acid forming' foods like starchy grains and vegetables such as pasta, wheat and beans, all dairy products, meat fish and shellfish.'

Also banned are tea, coffee, sugar, fizzy drinks including soda and tonic water, and of course alcohol.

And, following the book's release a couple of years ago, Victoria tweeted about her love of the eating scheme, praising the recipe book and raising its profile to superstar status.

She wrote on Twitter: 'Love this healthy eating cookbook!! X vb.'

While following the plan at least 70 per cent of your diet should be alkaline, while the other 30 per cent can be acidic, which basically means a lot of fruit and vegetables, and is something the regimented star tries to stick to as much as possible.

But she was clearly feeling the need for a cheat day as she joined her beloved parents and Brooklyn for a bite at the popular fast food restaurant, following a stressful few weeks, which saw her show her latest collection at New York Fashion Week to critical acclaim.

She also seemed to be putting behind her the recent furore over her alleged use of models that are deemed too skinny.

After posting Instagram videos on Tuesday, showing models wearing her Autumn/Winter 2016 designs, she was criticised for using models who were incredibly svelte.
