Cozy quarters! Ben Affleck 'lives in the bedroom NEXT to Jennifer Garner's' at their $45m Pacific Palisades mansion she says they are not selling

When it was announced in June that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were headed for a divorce, it was reported that he had moved out of their bedroom and into a guest house on the property of their $45m Pacific Palisades property.

But now UsWeekly has claimed something different.

The magazine stated in their new issue, on newsstands Friday, that the Batman v Superman actor is not sleeping in the separate property, but rather in the room next to the 43-year-old Alias vet.

'Ben stays in the room next to Jen's. This is their new normal,' a source said in an article titled Her Tell-All Aftermath.

'They've figured out how to be friends.'

They have three children together: Violet, 10, Seraphina, aged seven, and Samuel, aged four. 

The 8,800 square foot home is massive, and there are plenty of bedrooms - a total of five - to choose from, which makes him living right next door to the brunette beauty seem odd.

The property also sits on three acres on a hill.

And the couple does not have plans to go elsewhere. Garner told Vanity Fair that, contradictory to reports, she has no plans to sell the home, which was once owned by power producer Brian Grazer.

Also in that interview - which UsWeekly said she 'just had to do' - she talked about the nanny many thought got between them.

'We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny,' said the Miracles From Heaven actress. 'She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes.'

When the nanny story broke in July, Ben has said the report was 'garbage.'  

'It's not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives,' she said. 'I have had to have conversations about the meaning of "scandal."'

Jennifer and Ben announced their split in June, just a month before talk of his involvement with the nanny, 28.

As far as his claims that the affair never happened, Jennifer said: 'He’s still the only person who really knows the truth about things. And I’m still the only person that knows some of his truths.' 

And of their union, Garner said she was committed as much as she could be. 'It was a real marriage,' said Garner. 'It wasn’t for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work.'

But the Daredevil actress asked people to not be too hard on Ben. 'No one needs to hate him for me. I don’t hate him. Certainly we don’t have to beat the guy up,' she said. 'Don’t worry—my eyes were wide open during the marriage. I’m taking good care of myself.'

Garner looked drop-dead gorgeous at the Oscars on Sunday night where she presented with Benicio Del Toro.

The two seemed to get along well during rehearsals, where she gave him a kiss on the cheek, and back stage at the ceremony. 

Also on Sunday night, Ben got laughs for sneaking Matt Damon onto the Jimmy Kimmel show. There is a long-running gag on the late night show that Kimmel has banned Damon from the program. 

Jen and Ben have each been seen since running errands in LA, separately.
