'Do you want to take a spin?' Ben Affleck interrupts tours from inside Batmobile...and is even mistaken for Superman

It's the iconic vehicle that most fans only dream of driving.

And fans must have been pinching themselves when they were given the chance to sit inside the Batmobile alongside Ben Affleck, all thanks to the actor and charity company Omaze.

The 43-year-old, who plays the Caped Crusader in the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, interrupted tours at Warner Brothers Studio Tour from inside the Batmobile, even inviting one tourist inside the car for a ride.

Ben first surprised fans touring through a collection of vehicles, which included the Batmobile.

The actor was completely hidden out of view as he sat inside the car, only to surprise fans when they were asked by their tour guide if Batman or Superman would win in a fight against each other.

For fans who replied with the name of Batman's rival, Ben unveiled himself, asking, 'Who said Superman?'

Interestingly enough, several fans were not instantly convinced it was indeed the Oscar winning actor sitting inside the car.

'I am real!' Ben assured her.

In a separate scene, one fan remained unconvinced.

'That looks like Ben Affleck,' he said after the actor's unveiling.

'That's because it is!' his friend replied.

After the fan leaned in to get better look at Ben, he backed away in shock upon realizing it was indeed the actor.

To Ben's disappointment, one visitor believed he was actually Superman.

'Superman!' said one visitor as he shook his hand, much to Ben's disapproval.

'Oh you're Batman!' the fan realized.

Ben then took the eye-catching vehicle for a ride outside, surprising fans once more in the middle of their tour.

As the actor parked the car in front of the golf cart tour vehicle, fans squealed and laughed in disbelief.

'How's the tour going?' Ben asked. 'Just wanted to see if anybody wanted to take a spin in the Batmobile?'

Immediately fans jumped at the opportunity by shooting their hands up into the air, but Ben selected one lucky tourist.

'How about you? Do you want to take a spin?' Ben asked the fan, who then looked thrilled as Ben drove him through the street.

Ben's stunt was done in partnership with Omaze, which is currently giving fans the chance to win an opportunity to hang out with the cast.

The campaign is being done to raise funds for the Eastern Congo Initiative.

Meanwhile, Ben's upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice will hit theatres on March 25.

Just last month the Argo star had talked about getting advice from previous Batman actors before portraying the iconic comic book hero.

During a visit to Good Morning America with co-star Henry Cavill, he joked: 'I talked to [George] Clooney and he gave me some advice which is not repeatable.'

He added: 'And I talked to Christian [Bale], who just told me to make sure I got a zipper in the suit, which was valuable, practical advice as it turned out.'

George played the caped crusader in the 1997 film, Batman & Robin; eight years later Christian starred in Batman Begins as well as two more installments that followed.
